Firm History
Doug Watson is the founder and managing director of the DW Financial Group and leads its operations from our headquarters just outside Portland, Oregon. Doug started his career with Arthur Andersen as a CPA over 25 years ago, ultimately leading Andersen's healthcare strategy practice in the Western United States. He left Andersen to develop the second largest healthcare information data exchange in the country before assisting with the sale of that business. He then led the Pacific Northwest Healthcare Consulting practices for CapGemini Ernst & Young and CSC as well as being a principal that jointly lead and developed the San Diego practice for ECG. Today, Doug is excited to return to leadership of the group he founded some years ago.
